A painting for my Abuelita's birthday. This is her mother's house in downtown Houston that the family held onto until a few years ago.

Google Translate says:
My presentation for a Spanish class. I wanted to do something with Colombia because my mom and her family in Bogota and Gabriel García Márquez chose because I've been fascinated since I read "One of these days," a short story his own. Gabriel García Márquez is a wonderful writer, and his influence will resonate through Latin America and the world. With its magical realism and social issues of truth and morality, he tells us as much as it delights.

Moral of the story: Google can't take over the world until they uncover algorithms to transcend the conceptual linguistic barrier. Also, García Márquez is awesome.
